Just as with my acoustic instruments, my goal with every electric guitar I build is to create an instrument that reflects the needs and personality of the individual musician. A musical instrument is an extension of the person who holds it. For this reason, every build—especially an electric guitar, where playing styles, techniques and personal preferences vary so widely—is approached as a unique, bespoke project, free from standardised solutions and unnecessary compromises.
Working with traditional hand tools and time-honoured techniques allows me to shape every detail with precision and flexibility, from the contours of the body to the profile and dimensions of the neck. This ensures that each instrument is tailored not only to the player’s musical requirements, but also to their physique and playing style.
The building process is a collaborative one. Together with the musician, we select the tonewoods, define the instrument’s specifications, choose the hardware, and decide on every individual component that will shape its character. The aim is to create an instrument that genuinely reflects and fulfils the expectations of the person who will play it.
For the finish, I use natural materials that enhance the beauty and character of the wood while preserving the feel of a living, handcrafted instrument. The result is a collection of electric guitars with a distinctive identity, built with meticulous attention to detail and a deep respect for the needs of the guitarist who chooses to make them their own.
