I was born in Athens in 1981.

I studied applied arts, as well as music, specialising in classical and modern guitar.

I became involved with instrument making in 2005. In 2009 I opened my first workshop and have been working professionally as a luthier since then.
I mainly specialise in building classical guitars, based on Spanish tradition, but with a more contemporary approach in the construction techniques, aesthetics and sound quality.

I also build, less often but with the same attentiveness, acoustic and electric guitars.

I only work with traditional hand tools, making one instrument at a time. This allows me to distinguish the particular qualities of each of the materials used in the build, so that the finished instrument performs to the best of its ability, and has its own unique character.

When I build a guitar I aim towards a rich yet balanced tone , with a wide dynamic range, and sustain. I pay particular attention to playability, so that the instruments are easy to play, and keep the clarity of each note even with low string action.

Choosing each piece of wood to be used is a crucial stage in the construction process, and that’s why I personally select my woods from the best specialised suppliers.

The look I want to achieve is a balance between the complex and the simple, the traditional and the modern. I want to highlight the natural beauty of the materials and the simplicity of form of the guitar.

A large part of my work is given over to repairs and maintenance of guitars and other stringed instruments. I undertake all types of repair, from a simple set-up to the restoration of rare and historical instruments.
