The guitars I make are based on the Spanish prototype, but with a freer, more modern approach in the construction techniques, the sound and the aesthetics. When I’m building an instrument, I’m aiming for a sound with balance, sustain, broad dynamic range and a wide spectrum of timbres, all of which provide the musician with great freedom of expression. I especially focus on the ergonomics of the guitars, as a result, my instruments are easy to play and have a clean sound even with low string height. The quality of the woods to be used in making the guitars plays a vital role. Each piece of wood has distinct properties. I aim to enable these woods to display their unique characteristics so that every instrument has its own individual personality, just as the instrument maker does. That’s why I choose the woods myself from the best suppliers, and make sure they are of the highest possible quality. All my instruments have a high-quality French polish finish. This is an age-old technique which, although it’s a time-consuming and demanding process, is preferable to other methods because it showcases the natural beauty of the woods, as well as it has the minimum impact on the guitar’s sound. My basic classical models are the Concert, the Grand Concert, and the Torres Legacy, all of which I build in a seven-string version.
“Concert” model
The Concert reflects the philosophy I’ve developed regarding the quality of the materials, the character of the sound, and the ergonomics. It’s the result of fifteen years of experimentation and research into building an instrument with great sensitivity and variation of timbres, which allows the musician to express him or herself as freely and effortless as possible.

“Grand Concert” model
The basic construction of the Grand Concert is the same as that of the Concert but it’s made using specially selected tonewoods. All woods are chosen taking into consideration the quality of the sound, the age of the woods, the look, and other aspects of quality. Also, in this model I use traditional hide glue in all the crucial sound-producing parts of the instrument. The result is a genuinely unique instrument from the point of view of sound and beauty. Its especially detailed build can also be seen in the hand-carved headstock and the adjustable soundport.
The sound portal, or soundport, is usually an oval-shaped hole in the side of a guitar which works together with the hole in the top. Even though it seems to be a modern addition to instrument making, a quick look at instruments from previous centuries gives us lutes, mandolins, and other instruments all with an additional hole (or holes) in their sides.
This additional hole allows a better airflow through the instrument. As a result, the notes are more clearly distinguishable one from the other and better projection is achieved. Also, the position of the hole under the player’s left ear (for those who are right-handed), functions as a type of natural monitor which helps him or her to hear what is being played more clearly, something that is very useful in live performances. This build with the adjustable portal allows the guitarist to have the soundport as open as he or she wishes, or even to close it completely.

“Torres Legacy” model
The model Torres Legacy is based on the original Spanish guitar that was created by the great luthier ?? and his successors. It’s an instrument built in the traditional Spanish way using the best materials. It remains true to the details, and has the beauty and excellent sound of the traditional classical guitar.
