If you place a new order, there are a number of alternatives as to the choice of materials, and to the extent of dimension modifications. Prices vary according to the materials and any possible modifications. Please contact me so that we can discuss the options available, the cost, as well as my current waiting list.

Materials I mainly use for the classical and acoustic guitars

  • Top: cedar or spruce (European, Engelmann)
  • Back and sides: Indian rosewood (or another type if ordered)
  • Fingerboard: ebony
  • Neck: Honduran cedar
  • Nut and saddle: bone
  • Keys: Schertler, Schaller
  • Finish: French polish
  • Case: various

Orders

A deposit of 15% of the final price of the instrument is required for work to start on a new order. In case of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable. The balance is to be paid on delivery of the completed instrument.

Guarantee

Every guitar comes with a lifelong guarantee to the original buyer/owner which extends to any failure in material or construction. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

  • negligence, accident, or careless use
  • damage caused by exposure to extreme humidity or heat (The guitars are built in a controlled environment with humidity of 40%-45%. The ideal conditions in which to keep a guitar after it leaves the workshop are at temperatures of 18-26 degrees and with humidity of 40%-55%.)
  • Normal ware, worn frets.
  • Keys, electronic and other parts are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee.
